The alternative approach many take is to have an architect design a project without input from the builder only to find out that it is over budget.

It’s a big disappointment after investing so much time and energy to have to go back to the drawing board because the project is unacceptably over budget.

We partner up with different architects and designers that match the architectural style and goals of the client keeping the budget in mind each step of the way.

With our over 30 years of experience, we can help match a design professional to your dream home.

We generate a preliminary budget based on the scope of work described by the owner prior to our initial meeting to spend any money on design.

If this meets the client’s budget we enter into a pre-construction services agreement.

Next we generate some preliminary drawings, and then do an estimate to make sure we are tracking along within budget.

After that there are usually some changes that are made to the design, some final “tweaking” is done to meet the budget.

And then we are able to complete the plans by creating construction documents to begin building.
